Background: I am a current sophomore at Wesleyan University. I began biking when I was young but did not begin 'cycling' until this summer. My first race was the Jamestown Classic, placed 10th in the Category 5 race.

Goals: I won't be here in the spring because I will be racing it up in France / studying, haha. But I look forward to a strong summer of racing in the US and to be back with the team tearing it up in CT!

Background: Background - At 39 years old, I am entering my 3rd year of road racing. I came to road racing as extra training for triathlon, and was immediately hooked! what helped push me over? being on a team (Anthem BC/BS), marrying a fellow cyclist (CAT 2), excellent coaching/encouragement from Aidan Charles and some early results-Women's over 35 CT State Criterium Champion (2006). 2008 will be my first year racing for CCNS- i anticipate a great year and am honored to be part of a CCNS.

2008 Goals: My focus for 2008 is the cyclocross season. I'd like to train smart and get some solid race exposure during the road season maintaining top fitness heading to into the cross season. In races I'd like to work with my teammates to ultimately get CCNS/Pedal Power on the podium as often as possible.

Background Jumped back into road cycling 6 years ago and each year became more and more serious. In 2007 I started using Charles Coaching services and stepped it up a notch. I competed in about a dozen races and finished the season very well in my age category.

Goals I’ve made the jump to Cat 4 for 2008 so I’d like to do some more exciting/challenging races and finish the season in the top 15 for my age group.
